2011, painted wood, iron and cast soil bricks, 135X180x190cm.
For “8 Cube”, Tel Aviv museum. Curators: Nili Goren, Sally Haftel Naveh, Nogah Davidson.
Bricks made of soil and glues, densely compressed into 6 molds of the same size but with different designs. The work aims to relate to the appropriation of land in the broad sense: To the urbanization of nature, and to occupation of land by state entities. The placement of the bricks is inspired by images QR code that we encounter on the computer but also in public urban zones.
