Holding On

Site specific installation, 2015, paper, wooden rods, aluminum joints, pencils, acrylic paints, graphite powder.

The installation is comprised of 2 objects and a wall installation. It is trying to convey a sense of a fragile environment.
The wall installation is a drawing constructed of about 50 pieces of plywood hanging from the ceiling in different distances from the wall, forming a layered drawing. The dimensions are 260X420X80 cm. Most of the plywood pieces are hanged parallel to the wall but some are perpendicular to it. The installation combines several intertwined narratives.   Some images break down (see armchair for example) and then reconstruct depending on the viewer’s location in front of the work. For me it is analogous to the subjective and personal perception of things.
