In the Morning I Found Out It Wasn’t A Dream
2015, cardboards, industrial felt and artificial plants, 500X700 cm.Group exhibition, Out of Proportion, Open University, curator: Carmit Bluemensohn
I created these hybrid huge figures, part human, part organic or mechanical, in an attempt to represent characteristics of human beings in the digital age in which, it seems to me, the body as if loses its materiality. The figures are made of simple and sensual materials – stripes of industrial felt that enabled me to create a 3D kind of line. The stripes are glued on cardboards that follow the grandiose architecture of the space and slightly alter it.
